Now available: Navigating Kinship Care in Texas. This downloadable guide was created by the Texas Legal Services Center. The goal of this Guide is to help kinship caregivers—and those who support them—better understand a caregiver’s legal status since this determines what decisions the caregiver can make for the child, eligibility for certain resources, services that might be available, and actions that might be needed to continue or change the legal relationship.
